The Greater San Antonio Apartment Complex Guide (San Antonio) is an independent directory and comparison resource covering 302 apartment complex businesses across the metro, from downtown high-rises to suburban garden-style communities in places like Stone Oak, Alamo Ranch, and the Medical Center area. It’s built for renters trying to figure out which communities are actually worth touring, and for anyone comparing amenities, management quality, and resident sentiment before signing a lease.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a complex or a leasing team, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page, and it never touches how a listing is scored or ranked.

Where the listings come from

Each listing starts with public business data: address, unit types, amenities, contact details, and similar factual records. We layer in a synthesis of recent Google reviews to capture what residents are actually saying, but we don’t republish review text wholesale. Instead, we summarize patterns and link out to the source on Google so you can read the original reviews yourself.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, not from opinion and not from payment. The full scoring criteria live on our methodology page, and every complex is measured against the same standards. A business listed here can request corrections to its own factual details (a wrong address, an outdated amenity, a changed phone number), but it cannot edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. That separation is what keeps the list usable.

Sponsorship, when it appears

Some pages may include a sponsored placement. It’s always labeled “Sponsored,” displayed in its own section apart from the ranked list, and it never changes or bumps a complex’s earned position. We do not sell placement in the rankings themselves. Every position on the ranked list is earned from data, full stop.
